1:00PM – Meet ‘n Greet
1:45PM – Off-site service projects
4:15PM – Screening of “The God’s Aren’t Angry”
6:00PM – Free pre-concert meal
7:00PM – Free community concert by “The Link” and keynote speaker John Paul McGee.

I hope you’re all enjoying the holiday season and getting ready for your well-deserved Christmas breaks (assuming you’re getting some type of break). With 2009 winding down I wanted to shoot out this email to let you know what’s coming up very soon in 2010 (wow, that sounds like a Sci-Fi year). Okay…
Don’t forget the Youth Christmas Party this Sunday from 6-7:30. Bring a white elephant gift, something that you already own. There will be the usual (food, prizes, live music, yadda yadda). I need EVERYONE who is coming to RSVP. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT 
There will be no MYF Sunday the 27th. Enjoy the day with family.
Sunday the 3rd, All youth are invited to my home for a time of fellowship, food, etc.
Prayer breakfasts resume Tuesday the 5th. Invite your friends from school. I’ll buy them breakfast! You heard me right.
Jan 10th I need ALL THE YOUTH present at MYF. Yes, this should be happening every week, but especially Jan 10th. We will have a representative from Habitat for Humanity coming to speak with us about fundraising and I need all Youth present. See you all there.
Jan 16th, HIGH SCHOOL RETREAT! I need to know RIGHT NOW, LIKE RIIIIIGHT NOOOOWWW, if you plan to go. The price is 65$ if you get in the payment before the 10th. It is $75 after that. We will be staying at the Simpsonwood Lodge in Norcross. Yeah, it’s a lodge, not a campsite. It’s nice, people. Oh, and tell me your t-shirt sizes.
And now, here’s the biggie. Saturday, Jan 23rd, is going to be something brand new. I’m setting up a Youth Event called “Reconcile 2010″, possibly an annual event (we’ll see how this one goes). It will consist of a service day at the Adkins home and other community projects, and then a meal back at the church, followed by a concert. I am having an amazing praise band and guest speaker travel to Warner Robins for this, so yes… people are coming here just to minister to you guys. I’m encouraging all youth to participate. I’m actually attempting to get multiple youth groups to participate. This is an open invitation to all youth from the community. All your friends from school, all your friends from other churches, and anyone who loves ministry and loves to worship Jesus. This is a community effort. RSVP for this as well. I need you guys for this one.

Remember that we all belong to God. This may make us feel better about ourselves (hopefully) but it should also reveal how God sees other people. Once we realize other people are unique creations of God as well (and that God owns them as well) we can begin to see others as just as important and just as cherished by God as we are. See each other through God’s eyes.
